Principle

This website sets no cookies, embeds no third-party content and uses no analytics or tracking services. The typeface is served from our own server, so no request reaches Google Fonts.

Contact form

Submitting the contact form transmits your name, email address and message, and optionally your company, phone number and the type of enquiry. We use these details solely to answer the enquiry and to prepare a quotation where applicable.

The data is not evaluated for advertising purposes. We do not pass it on to third parties unless this is necessary to carry out the transport requested or we are required to do so by law.

The form hands the details to the mail server of our hosting provider Infomaniak (see below), which delivers them to info@twintransport.ch. No third-party form service is involved and the data does not leave Switzerland.

We keep enquiries for twelve months and delete them afterwards. Where an enquiry leads to an order, the statutory retention periods for business records apply instead.

Server logs

This website is operated by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (Geneva), Switzerland, on servers located in Switzerland.

For technical reasons the web server records the IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page and browser and operating system details for every page view. We use these logs solely for troubleshooting and to prevent misuse, and we do not combine them with other data.

According to Infomaniak, access and error logs are retained for at least seven days. We carry out no evaluation beyond that.

Your rights

Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) you may request information about the personal data we process about you, have inaccurate data corrected and data no longer needed deleted, object to the processing, and request the data you provided in a common format.

An informal message to the address above or to info@twintransport.ch is enough. To protect your data we may ask you to prove your identity. Information is provided free of charge as a rule.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
